What is a Classical Kid?

Each month, KVNO honors the gift of the arts in our youth by recognizing an outstanding student musician. A panel of local music educators and KVNO staff members choose a youth whose musical efforts exemplify the value and richness of the arts in a young person's life.

Any young musician ages 7-13 who is studying and participating in vocal or instrumental music is eligible to be a Classical Kid.

Nominations for 2008 Classical Kids are being accepted at KVNO through November 10, 2007.
